Collection
Trust is a key factor, certainly in the precious metal segment. That is why we carry out all transport tasks ourselves. To us, subcontracting to a third party is not an option. In addition, we provide transport services free of charge. Our vehicles, which are specially designed for the collection of valuable materials, fulfils the very latest requirements. Calibrated scales and detailed confirmations of receipt also ensure correct registration at the start.
Analysis
Within the framework of acceptance checks, we take a digital photo and register the weight of all consignments of materials at our own laboratory. This is followed by a qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Everything is registered and checked at every other stage of the process. The advantage of this is that we then have extensive analysis options and are able to apply the following methods on a direct in-house basis:
- ICP – a tried and tested method for platinum, for example in dental waste or waste from liquids
- Cupellation – the classic method for gold and silver
- Titration – a reliable method for silver determination
- XRF – X-ray fluorescence, a modern technique which provides very precise results for all precious metals
Processing
The value of your waste or residual material becomes apparent after incineration or electrolysis. Using modern techniques and thanks to our experienced team of qualified specialists, we are able to ensure that your material is quickly recovered. The intermediate processing result are ingots, whose homogeneity we guarantee. The ingots contain all the precious metals which we have received from you in mixed form. The composition is carefully analysed in the laboratory.
Security
The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) is an international organisation which determines the global rules of the international precious metal trade as well as regulates and controls the Good Delivery status of international precious metal companies. We have acquired the Good Delivery Status which means that the precious metal ingots we produce can be traded anywhere in the world without any additional analysis being necessary.
Reliability
We guarantee you short turnaround times, as follows
- Material that can be immediately melted down, for example jewellery and filings: 3-5 working days
- Material that is supplied in melted down form, for example ingots: 3 working days
- Material that has to be pre-treated: 10 working days or more
- Liquids, for example gold and silver ingots: approx. 10 working days
- Pickling baths containing silver, for example nitric acid: approx. 20 working days
